- I am the grandmother of two, 8 and 9 years old, and I was a teacher and advocate for individuals with disabilities. I am currently retired and in an on-line master's program in library science. I am an avid supporter of the public school system and teachers in general. I have some time right now to learn about changes in classrooms and I pass this information on to my children for the benefit of my grandchildren. I alkso work part time for an attorney who represents children who are abused or neglected.
