- I have been an aide for over eight years, but involved in teaching children for many more years than that. I was constantly told I should go back and get my degree and my teaching certification. The Lord led me into missionary work the first time I was in college, but led me back to college four years ago. Lord willing, in three years I will have my bachelor's degree and pass the tests to get my teaching certification.
