- I am a former technical writer from the software industry. After our son was born, I re-entered the public schools and began volunteering in Library, English, and ESL. I went back to university to get my master's in teaching and to add my library and ESL endorsement. Today, I am the campus librarian in charge of 4 buildings (small learning communities). Because I do not have a physical presence in all buildings (can't be in 4 places at once), I have worked hard to create and foster a virtual presence. I have also been working with teachers who want to bring web2.0 tools into the classroom to engage students and super-charge learning.
