About Me: Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta is working as Librarian in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow (U.P.). Mr. Gupta holds Master of Science in Mathematics and Library & Information Science, and also holds Two Post Graduation Diplomas in subject of Information Technology and Personal Relation Management and also holds B. Ed Degree. Mr. Gupta has coordinated many National / International Olympiads and Talents Search Examinations; he organized and coordinated various co-curricular activities (CCA) at vidyalaya also. He designed web 2.0 tools, and many websites. Mr. Gupta actively participated in various State/ National Level Professional Workshops, Conferences, Seminars in subject of Library & Information Science, Information Communication Technology, and Digital Library. He presented and published more than 10 peer-reviewed conference papers/ articles, and edited more than 3 documents. He served as Lecturer in Department of Library & Information Science, Amrapali Institute of Computer Applications, Haldwani for course B.L.I.Sc., M.L.I.Sc before joined KVS, and also Librarian (I/c) in Hindustan Institute of Management & Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura (UP). He is life member of Many Library Associations i.e. ILA, SIS, IASLIC.
