- I was a video game designer, creating hand-held video games for Disney, Lucas Film, Nickelodeon, and others and wanted to apply my creative and technical background to education. After visiting schools in Kenya and Tanzania, I went back to school part-time and received a master's degree in Education and a teaching certificate.
