About Me: I teach grades 6-8 as an exploratory teacher in computer media at Kyrene Middle School. Students are taught computer and networking basics, web page development, Photoshop, Flash, 3D modeling, digital photography, video editing and Web 2.0 technologies. I also teach a broadcasting class to 8th grade students. In this class, students learn how to use the latest A/V broadcasting equipment to produce their own live morning announcements show called KMSTV. I completed my thesis on mobile learning and created a mobile app for my students as a final media project. Currently, I'm splitting my time teaching as a facilitator of an experimental tech lab at my school. This lab provides students with authentic educational experiences by tailoring the learning environment to their needs. Projects completed in this lab are being documented in a website that will be up and running shortly.
