- In 2009 I earned a BA from Empire State College in English and am currently pursuing my Masters of Arts in Teaching also from Empire. I am an adult learner who went back to school after many years of being a mom and working in the school district as as special education classroom aide for 10 years. I have a wonderful husband Herb and we will celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary in August. We have two teenage sons 18 & 19 yrs. old.
