My class went to Gedi ruins , Malindi, Kenya. Unfortunately due to forseen circunstances I could not make it. I had the great opportunity of going through my students' journals. Wow! Those kids wrote such interesting pieces. The information was detailed and their illustrations were so cute!
I will urge them to share their work on this blog if possible!

Greetings, Naini, from Memphis, Tennessee, USA! My name is Ken Greene and I am the general music teacher and choir director at Ridgeway Middle School. Would you be interested in participating in a "global collaboration" with me and my students? We have had a lot of success collaborating with students in other countries - cultural exchange projects, live video chats, Voicethread communication - and we are anxious to continue meeting and working with new friends.

We work with online applications such as Glogster, Voicethread, and Blogger to name a few. We have even participated in several live video chats using Skype and Google Video Chat. If you would like to visit my web site to see what kind of work we have done, the address is: http://web.me.com/knrgreene/RMSMusicMediaNetwork/Welcome.html.

I am open to any and all types of collaborative work. Thank you for reading and considering my request. I hope to hear from you soon!

Best Regards, Ken

I want to use GoogleApps with my Year 4 students. Do you think they are too young for this?
