About Me

My name is Michael Ficara. I currently work at Monsignor Pace High school in Miami. I have been teaching theology for 4 years, and taught psychology for 3 years before that. I enjoy teaching. I love challenging and encouraging my students to achieve success. I am involved in this program because I believe our educational system is changing and it is our responsibility as educators to help shape the classroom of the 21st century learner. I believe this is an exciting time to be in education because we have the opportunity to break down walls and build new ones!
