About Me: I grew up in Floyd County, VA. I attended Roanoke College in Salem, VA where I received my undergraduate degree in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education and Political Science. I began my graduate degree at Virginia Tech last summer, however, I wanted to have the opportunity to take graduate level Mathematics courses and continue teaching, so I am now a Highlander.

When I graduated from high school I wanted to go into politics full-time. However, I quickly realized that if I wanted to really change the world for the better that I would would have to become a teacher. I now teach at Lord Botetourt High School in Botetourt, VA.
