I was an educator for 12 years and I currently work for the Khanya Project in the Western Cape. More and more of the schools over here are placing whiteboards in the classrooms and I currently train educators in the use of Notebook software on their Smart Boards. I have a passionate belief in the value of technology in the classroom and I am excited that our schools are moving more and more in the right direction regarding this. But we have a long way to go.....

Hello. I am running a project called FACE IT-TRACE IT-ERASE IT. It allows students from all over the world to collaborate on issues that effect the earth. First, they must FACE the issue by describing it. Then they must TRACE IT by researching the issue (like disease or pollution). Finally, they ERASE IT by coming up with a solution. It is for ages 14-18 and we have students all over the world joining in. If you are interested please email me at streljg@d11.org for more information. Thank you. Jack Strelec
