In the first article I learned t's not enough for students to master PowerPoint and Excel. They need to think critically about how they translate data and information into effective communication," this is something I have never really thought about in my class room. IN the second video I found it very interesting and cringingly true. The third article was very insightful. All ten tips offered can be done in every class and all teachers should strive to use them in their curriculum. The last video was very eye opening. As a teacher it is frustrating  to feel as though you cannot do those certain activities because if you do them then you take away important testing instruction time. In the video the one thing that really stood out to me was the portion when he was talking about how our students want mentors who don’t talk down to them. I teach in a title one school and a lot of my students come from homes where they are spoken down to due to stress in the home. I can really see my students seeking this in my class room. All in all I really enjoyed the video and I am walking away thinking how am I going to teach innovation in my class room. All of this information through these four articles and videos has left me really thinking and trying to improve myself as a teacher so I benefit my students.  I would consider myself to be a native in the digital world. However things are constantly changing so I am having to constantly learn the new up and coming “digital tricks.”
