I'm a student in the U.S. and was looking to explore more of the international scene in regards to teaching. I feel like branding out can help me become a more rounded educator in general. I have always been interested in the Canadian education system and how it functions in comparison to our own.
Lisa, I am a 4th Grade Math and Science teacher in Wellford, SC, USA. I'm starting up several of my international skype data collection projects and I'd love to connect with a teacher at your school. In Science some of our main ideas are astronomy, world environments, and weather. We'll be collecting data in these units to compare information from around the world. Would any teachers at your school be interested? Canada would be a great location for data from the northern hemisphere.

It's great to find more Canucks in here in CR 2.0. You might want to join a group called "Canadians Mashup". If you join, please use the Welcome forum at http://www.classroom20.com/group/canadianmashup/forum/topics/welcome-to-canadian-mashup to introduce yourself, and then add me as a Colleague.
