Profile Information

About Me: As I stated before, I am a graduate student at Missouri Baptist University and am continuing my education to become an elementary school teacher. I originally graduated from University of Missouri- Columbia with my degree in Textile and Apparel Management. After working in the industry for a few years, I knew that I wasn't fulfilling my calling in life and started to explore other options. I began working in higher education which lead me to the realization that I need to be a teacher. I don't know why it took me so long to realize teaching is where my passion lies, mainly because I've been surrounded by teachers my entire life. I will be the fourth generation teacher in my family, and married into a family of educators as well. My husband is also currently attending school to be a teacher. We are expecting our first child, a little boy, any day now and couldn't be more thrilled.
