- About Me
- At HGSE, I am in the Language and Literacy Ed. M. program, and particularly interested in how to provide better education to English language learners. I believe strongly in the power of a good bilingual program and discovery-based learning.
I decided to go into teaching after two summers working at Breakthrough Manchester, a summer program for at-risk middle school students. After graduating, I was certified by Texas Teaching Fellows, part of the New Teacher Project, and taught for two years in a bilingual second grade classroom in Austin, Texas.
