- My nickname is Kitty. Curiosity has made learning new things exciting, and enabled me to relate to students who share a love of learning, too. For nearly 20 years, my students and I explored why it's important to learn how to learn. Certification in teaching gifted students in middle and high school taught me techniqes useful for students of all ability levels; I highly recommend taking classes in the specialty, if you can!
In our experimentation with writing, they learned to deconstruct good writing, explore why it worked, and try it themselves.
