Since September 2001 I have been a member of the social studies department at Hunterdon Central Regional High School located in Flemington, NJ. Currently I am a member of National Council for the Social Studies, New Jersey Education Association and the Hunterdon Central Education Association.
At Hunterdon Central I am part of the initial pilot cohort of Tablet PC teachers, and I have been using a Tablet in my instruction since September 2005. I was also part of the initial pilot cohort of teachers using the Moodle classroom management system, and I have been using it in my instruction since September 2007. Currently I am part of the initial cohort of teachers in Central's 1 to 1 netbook pilot which is also tied into our school's move toward 21st Century Skills instruction.
I attended the County College of Morris where I studied Liberal Arts and Humanities and earned a Associates degree in 1998. I then attended Rutgers College and majored in History and minored in Sociology earning a Bachelor's degree in 2000. Finally I attended Rutgers University Graduate School of Education where he studied Education, completed NJ Secondary School Certification and earned a Masters degree in 2001.
