About Me: My name is Julie Niemeyer and I am working towards my MAT in Elementary Education. I graduated from Mizzou in 2009 with a BS in Food Science and Nutrition. After a lot of soul searching, and several come to Jesus moments, I decided go back to school to pursue a degree in education. During the school year, I work as a paraprofessional at Frankford Elementary. I absolutely love my job and can’t wait to have my own classroom! Of course, I love to relax with my friends and family. I also like to watch movies and The Food Network. My favorite hobby is to cook a wide variety of tasty treats. I love to experiment with new foods and recipes. I love Cardinals baseball, and of course the Mizzou Tigers! During the summer months I love to swim at our family lake. My future goals are to finish my degree by 2013, and then to start teaching a 1st or 2nd grade class in August of 2013.
