Hi Jonathan
I have not used ePals so I will look into this. I will touch base with you around mid July. I will be going back to NZ for the vacation.

Hi Jonathan
Have chatted with my class today and they are very keen to be involved in collaborative learning next term. They are passionate about the environment and are keen to be involved in anything that actually makes a difference. We are also working on a science focus and are going to hold a science fair. They have never experienced anything like this before.
I am keen to hear back from you as I am starting to think about planning for next term. Our new terms starts on the 13th July. We are on recess from the 20th June - 13th July.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
Gail

Hi
It's me again. I have just received an email from Steve from Classroom 2.0 about a new resources that they are developing for the exact purpose of developing collaborative classroom learning. The session in Elluminate is at 12am my time tomorrow so I will not be able to attend as it is right in the middle of teaching time. Will you be able to attend the session?
Regards
Gail

Hi Jonathan,

I am an ex-primary teacher who now works with www.brainpop.co.uk - here in Oxford. I thought, seeing as you are local, and on the same ning space as me... I thought I'd invite you to take the 30 day trial and IF you like it - I'll offer you a special price.

Also - if you have any feedback on the site - (including if you hate it) let us know. It would be great to have some local teachers to talk to and visit, and to involve in the growth of the site.

Hope to hear from you soon

Best

Eylan Ezekiel

Hi Heather
I followed your link through my initial contact with Hans. I am new to Classroom 2.0 and so I thought that I would just drop you a line. I teach at a school in Northern Queensland, Australia I teach a Year4 class of 9 year olds. I am completing the final stages of a Master of Teaching degree which I hope will extend to a Doctoral study. At present I want to review my own practice in terms of the extent to which I actually teach the skills and strategies that support reflective, self-directed learning and then I want to make adjustment and changes in my teaching to address this. I am going to use e-portfolios as reflective journals and am going to develop the students knowledge of Web 2.0 open source software so that they have a broader base of tools that they can use to show their learning process, metacognition and next learning steps.I want to extend my knowledge of SISIMO, Sight , Sound and Motion for reflection, rather that just written reflections.
I am really looking forward to joining the webinar as I have never joined in on one of these sessions. Any ideas or suggestions that will help me develop my knowledge of tools that I could use for audio or anything on e-portfolios will be greatly appreciated. I will keep in touch.
