I have been working as a teacher and school counselor with students in Pennsylvania Public Schools since 1996, and am currently employed as an elementary school counselor. Previous to my current position I was a teacher and/or counselor in Philadelphia Public (Philadelphia, PA), Coatesville Area (Coatesville, PA), and Jim Thorpe Area (Jim Thorpe, PA) School Districts. I was a Kindergarten teacher for three years, a fourth grade teacher for four years, a high school counselor for four years, and am in my fourth year as an elementary school counselor. I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education/Music and my Master of Science degree in Higher Education/Post Secondary Counseling and School Counseling from West Chester University (West Chester, PA). I am certified as an elementary school teacher, elementary school counselor, and secondary school counselor by the state of Pennsylvania. I am pursuing the MS in Online Teaching degree as I feel I could benefit greatly from increased knowledge in this very up and coming area of education.

Regarding more personal information, I am married 12 years, have two little girls who are the loves of my life, and don't have nearly enough me time. The little bit of me time I do get I like to walk, read, and connect with friends.
