Profile Information

About Me: I am a Registered Dietitian and an active member of the ADA, the NYSDA, and the Greater New York State Dietetic Association. I hold an M.S. degree in Nutrition and Food Science, summa cum laude, from Hunter College, City University of New York, and a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, summa cum laude, from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. I also partake in ongoing continuing education courses to keep apprised of current trends in Nutrition and to maintain my RD credential.

I have an extensive background in both health care and education. I worked as a Clinical RD for more than 15 years in hospitals, health care facilities, and for physicians in private practice. I taught a variety of courses at the post secondary level, including Introductory Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition. I also taught science at the high school level, where I conceived the idea for BIOL-O-GEE RAP tm, a series of fun and informative science videos. I am fortunate and blessed to work with an amazing team of seasoned science educators who peer review my science videos, and award winning and acclaimed artists and performers who bring my science videos to life.
