About Me: I come from Bangalore in India, but have recently relocated to the US and live in New Jersey. I have been in education since 1994 and have had the privelege of working in progressive International Schools in Bangalore. I have taught children from PreK to Grade 3. Until recently I was the Curriculum Head and Branch Head of 2 branches of Neev PreSchools in Bangalore, India. I have been interested in learning and applying new and different techniques in the classroom to make the learning experience meaningful and relevant to children. My goal is to make a change and difference to education in India, in order to make children more equipped to realize their potential and compete in the global arena. I would like to move from working in small niche settings to a macro level. I am interested in finding out whether new research coming out of the west can be implemented in a diverse and complex society such as India.
