About Me: I am the Manager for Educational Technology in the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Department in Houston ISD. In this role, I provide support to the Elementary campuses in Houston ISD to formulate a shared vision for comprehensive integration of educational technology and foster an environment and culture conducive to the realization of that vision. That vision includes three overarching goals: managing a team whose primary task is the development and maintenance of curriculum documents for the elementary technologists to provide guidance in teaching the TA TEKS in preparation for success on the Technology Literacy Assessment; implementing, integrating and utilizing educational technology resources and tools to enhance the core curriculum documents; and managing district-wide initiatives related to technology and instruction from inception to successful implementation.
