Profile Information

About Me: I recently completed my Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin—Stout with an E-Learning and Online Teaching Certificate. This experience has allowed the opportunity to continue my growth as an educator through reflection and the addition of a new set of E-Learning skills.

I have been a middle and high school educator for the past six years and am currently teaching 8th grade business classes in Hudson, Wisconsin. Classes taught include entrepreneurship, economics & the stock market, and personal finance. My students participate in the Economics Wisconsin Stock Online Market Simulation. Students have consistently placed within the top five for the region and several teams have placed in the top ten in state. Additional teaching experience includes working in business education, marketing education, special education, and with at risk learners. In addition to teaching, I have worked in business and industry as a sales representative, retail manager, and merchandiser.

In addition, I earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1997 and B.S. in Marketing and Business Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2003.

My free time is spent being a dad to my two children. We also spend time scouting, reading, swimming, playing games, and watching movies. Other interests include following politics, history, sports, and spending time outdoors.
