About Me: My name is Dr. Cassandra Allen Holifield and I am the Director of Northwest Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS). I help coordinate Special Education services for 16 local school systems in Northwest Georgia and am affiliated with the Georgia Department of Education and NW GA RESA. I'm also the President and CEO of Allen Consulting & Program Development Firm, Inc. in which I provide professional development and school improvement services to educational agencies in the areas of special education, positive behavioral supports, RTI, differentiation, inclusion, school improvement, and other. I'm also an Online Professional Development Specialist. I'm new to web 2.0 and am interested in learning as much as I can to help support the teachers and students that I serve.
