- The New Community School is a college prep school for students with dyslexia and other language processing challenges. We are grades 6-12. I am the Dean of Students for the Middle School and I also teach 8th grade Earth Science. I have taught here for 14 years. We have helped many kids - a testimony to how the proper environment can enable kids to learn.
