About Me: I am a 1984 graduate of Southern University Baton Rouge. (Go Jags!) and a highly devoted mother of four awesome teenagers including "surrogate mother" of two beautiful dogs.

My interest sparked towards technology when I was 17 years old and I became a data entry operator at a hospital. I can remember till this day wondering how was that machine able to process data and produce reports. From there I've done everything with punch cards, tape drives, mainframes and database programming. Somewhere between this and that...I learned how to fix and repair computers.

When the Internet boom hit back in the 1990’s, I formed my own home business based company and built websites and e-commerce solutions for small businesses. Eventually, I opened up my own e-store, selling medical supplies on the Internet. Thereafter I started teaching technology part-time. I never looked back after I got in the classroom. I knew that this was where I belong - in Education.

Currently, I serve as IT Teacher/Tech Coordinator for a private school while pursing my Masters in Instructional Technology at the University of Houston ClearLake (Go Cougs!)
