Hello Ms. Ruptic. My name is Cheryl Hanson and you probably don't remember me but I was a student of yours at Evergreen Jr. High School in Redmond Oregon about 30+ years ago. I think about you often because you were the one person that gave me encouagement in the arena of writing. I have always wanted to thank you for those stars you put on the top of my poetry assignments. You have no idea what it has meant to me for all of these years. Thank you.
