- I am 54 years old and teaching is my second career as I only started teaching in 2006. I did not graduate from high school, but I work very hard now to keep kids from making the same mistake. I went back to school in 2000 and graduated with my masters in the summer of 2006 and started teaching at Arlington that same year.
