About Me: Britt Carr is an Instructional Design and Technology Specialist for Miami’s Advanced Learning Technologies unit. He is responsible for helping faculty and teaching staff include learning activities into their courses. He has spent the last twelve years helping faculty develop websites, interactive media, and advanced presentation technology.

Before joining the team at Miami, Britt worked in California’s Silicon Valley as an Internet Strategist for software giant Macromedia, Inc. He created and managed Macromedia’s Innovation Award program which highlighted web developer’s talents and ground-breaking use of rich media in the educational field.

Britt is a certified Macromedia Flash MX Designer and holds a B.S. in Broadcasting/Electronic Media from Northern Arizona University and a M.Ed. in Educational Media and Computers from Arizona State University.
