About Me
I've been a business entrepreneur for almost 30 years now and owned a several businesses. For the last 18 years, I've been a programmer. During this time I've found it difficult to concentrate and attributed that to a mental deficiency. Then I took a simple online personality test that changed my whole world. I was working "against" my personality rather than "with" it.

I now enjoy as business that involves seminar training and public speaking. The frustrating years are gone!

I appreciate how you feel. At the same time, if we were to allow or encourage postings of a commercial nature -- no matter how valuable or virtuous the service -- the community would become less valuable as a place to talk about Web 2.0 or collaborative technologies in the classroom.

You might consider starting your own Ning network (www.ning.com) on career counseling. Or there may even be some already--worth checking out, I think.

Cheers.

Hi, Bob.

Glad to have you here.

Classroom 2.0 is a community for discussions about the use of web technologies in the classroom. As such, I have to ask that content and postings be on that topic. I know it's tempting with this many educators gathered together to pursue other ideas, but the benefit of the network gets reduced if the scope is broadened--especially if commercial postings are added to the mix.

I understand your motivations, and think what you're doing is a good thing. I have gone ahead and deleted your post, but hope you'll continue to look around here, to contribute to the discussions, and to make individual contacts.

Best,

Steve
