- I am a 27 year veteren shop teacher. Last few years has seen shop enrollment decline and me teaching Careers and/or computers. Just happy to be working. Born & raised in suburbia, N.Y. Served in the Army during the Carter Administration. Stationed in Germany and Californis. Taught 5 1/2 years in Louisiana and 22 and counting in Texas. Have a wife and 2 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Will retire (as will my wife) when we can afford it.
