I am a curious, passionate human being who is fortunate enough to have been engaged in education for 34 continuous years. In 1997-99, while working on projects for NASA's ESS and ETE programs, I participated in, helped develop, and then taught some of the earliest online education classes for teachers across the country and around the globe. In 2000, I had the honor of being selected by Intel to serve as a Master Teacher in the pilot years of their Teach to the Future Program. By 2002, together with a group of 4 other teachers, I created an international collaboration among middle school students from 5 school in Australia and the United States. The project evolved from Wetlands collaborations to Sustainability and is now entering its 11th year. Most recently I have moved from the classroom to being able to serve as the Educational Technology Coordinator supporting teachers in a K-12 Independent School in Portland, OR.
