As an adult who still gets up and watches PBS Kids every morning, I have what some might qualify as an obsession with children's television. I did my undergraduate degree in this field at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. While in school, I interned and worked on preschool shows Sesame Street and Johnny and the Sprites, and spent semesters working in the research departments of Nickelodeon and the BBC's preschool channel, CBeebies. After graduating, I moved out to Los Angeles, where I worked in both television production and development.
Knowing that preschool media is continuing to grow far beyond the television screen, I am excited about the upcoming year at HGSE/TIE and expanding my knowledge and ability as a content creator across multiple platforms. I also have a particular interest in the creation of media specific to the needs of preschoolers with Autism and hope to one day open a company with my sister, a special education teacher, for this purpose.
