Three years ago the educational reform movement dealt only with the cosmetic and ignored the larger influences that cause education to be what it is.

Today? Maybe it's worse.

More testing doesn't help learning. The Fed's are rewarding institutions that do the wrong things very well. Schools are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea and kids are the ones who are paying the price.

Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
