2. Weekly Online English Practice: The Subject by Mario Gonzalez-Hernandez
Saturday, 11 October, 2008 7:00 AM To 8:00 AM (GMT-06:00) Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey

This session is part of the online weekly practice space for those willing to learn, refresh or improve their skills in English as a second language. This weekly session is in continuation of the 2 previous sessions, Principles of Learning Second Language and The Sentence. Meanwhile, this session will discuss deeply about "The Subject". In a sentence, every verb must have a subject. If the verb expresses action, like squeeze, laugh, learn or speak, the subject is who or what does the verb. Correct understanding of "The Subject" goes a long way in getting you fluent with English speaking and sentences.

Saturday, 11 October, 2008 6:00 PM To 7:00 PM (GMT+03:00) Jerusalem

With continuous learning being a norm rather than an exception, making the most of the available time on hand while learning is very important. Unfortunately with poor techniques of learning, we manage to get less and less with more and more time rather than other way around. Further, the lessons never seem to last and quickly fade away. In this session, Nellie Deutsch would be demonstrating techniques to learn effectively and efficiently. While the techniques would be most suitable for learning English – written and spoken, they are general enough for any language learning or learning any subject.
