STEM Activities

Has anyone seen or organized a great STEM activity?

I have been using the Marshmallow Challenge to try to get students to think in terms of design for potential Architectural Engineering students.  I am looking for additional ideas that were successful in utilizing the students abilities and stimulate forward thinking.  

The STEM initiative can be a great opportunity for collaboration both inside and outside the classroom. I am looking forward to viewing others contributions and sharing my results.
