The TPCK Framework stands for Technology, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge Framework. This framework was developed by Punya Mishra and Matthew Koehler. This framework is broken down into 2 areas that are important to look at when deciding whether or not to incorporate technology into the classroom. The first is technology knowledge which is your understanding of how to use the technology you are trying to incorporate into your classroom. The second is Pedagogical which is your understanding of how the technology you are trying to incorporate affects your teaching and planning. The last is the content knowledge which is your understanding of the content you are trying to teach through the technology you are trying to incorporate.
