I agree with Virginia (comment below).  I am testing out mobile technologies for over two years beginning with BB phones and iPhones, now iPads and e-readers .

This area is explorative but naturally dynamic. As educators we know students BYOD and we need to grasp this as an opportunity to advance learning.  We need to be innovative and creative with lesson plans and activities to promote learning in the mobile environment.  In higher ed... we see students that still are struggling with the digital divide but that gap seems to be closing depending upon your geographical location and resources.  I have a group called BYOD - bring your own devices (excuse my plug) and would like to combine resources into a collaborative group.  Do the groups ever have co-moderators?

Just a thought.  I am creating a document on the mobile devices used in higher ed... it is just in the planning stages too.

Thanks for bringing attention to a needed group!

Surprised that this is not a huge community.

Looking for apps and lesson plans using mobile learning with grades k-5. New to this so have only found lessons for middle school and up. Free apps and then how do teachers integrate into curriculum lessons?
