Looking for 7/8 Grade Life Science Curriculum

Here we are at the end of the school year and the assistant principal shows up at our department meeting and tells us to work on scope and sequence for curriculum we'll be involved next school year. We worked on it and discovered we don't have adequate curriculum for our life science standards.

What is out there? We're involved in a one year pilot program so we don't want to spend a lot of money but we're looking for an inquiry based program, 6 - 9 weeks long that covers Indiana State Standards. We're looking for something with manipulatives, workbooks/pamphlets, and technology integration.
