Simple questions lead to complex learning

I have gathered some resources and links for student research into the question of whether zoos should exist. This is a great topic for Common Core aligned research and argumentative writing. Lots of tech infused topics and resources in this blog for critical thinking, understanding perspective and using research to support arguments. Do you have any hot topics that you use as prompts for argumentative or persuasive writing?

This sounds like a great concept for an argumentative or persuasive writing project but the resources and links link is not working. Do you still have this? I am going to be taking my son and tutor student to the zoo in a couple of weeks and this would be an excellent extension activity for our trip!
