I am new to this group. I am a science teacher taking a graduate course on emerging technology trends. As part of my graduate work I am researching and learning about different ways technology is used in classrooms.

Does anyone have good examples of how blogging can be effectively used in classrooms?

Also, in what ways might you have seen iPods and/or podcasting used in classrooms (specifically science classrooms).

I have seen iPods used to preload students with science vocabulary and concepts. Teacher created podcasts are downloaded onto the iPods and students watch and listen to science podcasts before and during a science unit. This is especially useful for English language learners who need lots of vocabulary development to make the content accessible. Hope this is helpful.
