Students are not allowed to use cellphones in schools in my country. I have just read this article: "Four Ways to Use Cell Phones in the Classroom" on this link:

Any suggestions on how to convince the Ministry of Education in my country of the positive effect that its use can have on teaching and learning?

I believe using smartphones is a wise strategy as long as thier use is connected to education... I know several apps especially designed for learning institutions, but if I had to choose one of them I'd definitely choose Nearpod, I think you should take a look at it: It may help you to convince your country's Ministry of Education!!
