I am looking for an online 'tutorial' of the research process for sixth grade students. Any suggestions on taking students step-by-step through the process? There is a World Book Encyclopedia software program that we have on some of our computers but I am looking for something similar online.

Hi Lorraine,

We've just created an online "How To Do Research" feature that has two sections: a section for students that walks them through the research process (planning and conducting research, evaluating and citing sources, and compiling and presenting the information), and a section for educators on how to teach research skills (including teaching research skills, with various models, "plagiarism-proof assignments", and some other case studies). This feature is available on World Book Student and World Book Discover. Please let me know if you'd like more information on how to access it.
