reading fluency: web 2.0 tools?

Our middle school language arts teacher asked me to find any free, online tools for improving reading fluency with middle school students. I've done alot of searching, with not much success. So now I turn to our 2.0 community! Thanks in advance for your help.

One of our teachers has been using Read Naturally, a web based, fee based program. She has also been using iPod touches with the Voice Memo app - free 'native' app on the iPod Touch. She reports student fluency increasing from 80 wpm to 140 wpm (although reported the high end was a phenomena perhaps...irregardless -- gains were made!
