Often students can find relief from pre-test jitters through writing. Standardized tests can cause stress for many. It seems that providing an outlet for fears or frustrations would be beneficial.  Has anyone tried creating a class blog to address this issue? What do you think?

I not have attempted this but I do think that is an excellent idea.  A lot of times children feel helpless when it comes to frustrations with testing and creating a blog as an emotional outlet could help relieve some of their frustrations.  It would also be a great way to find out what exactly your students are worried about and possibly allow you to address it in the classroom.
