Panelist opportunity on the Cloud Technology for Higher Education at FIT

Dear all:
 
I am Prof. Jean Marc Rejaud from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC and I am contacting you today as I believe that some of you could be great panelists for the next EduTech Conference at FIT on March 16th  2012.
 
The theme of the up-coming conference (which at the core is focused on addressing the application of technology to education) is: ”Teaching, Learning and Sharing in the Cloud”
 
This is a subject that is of course very close to all of you. Check out the event at http://www.fitnyc.edu/11511.asp.
 
We haves hundreds of attendees every year who are Faculty from FIT & SUNY (State University of New York) primarily and the audience is growing year after year. For 2012, the event is officially sponsored and funded by SUNY.
 
The theme of the particular panel that I would like to invite for is: “Are We On The Same Cloud?”
 
The idea behind this panel is to have representatives of each of the key stake holders in the application of the Cloud technologies to education (Publishers - Faculty - Administrators - - Subject Experts - Service Providers - Students). Each of those stake holders might have a key interest or concern or point of view in the application of those tools to education and those key interests or points of view might be conflicting or converging.
 
This panel will be facilitated to enable each representative to express his or her point of view from the stand point of the stake holder that they represent and to allow exchange of ideas. As such, the audience should be able to have a 360 degree understanding of the various advantages, opportunities and challenges that the Cloud could mean for Higher Ed…as well as the different meanings (or Clouds) that this could have.
 
At that at stage, we are really looking for Higher Ed faculty and institution administrators who are pushing and using the Cloudd technology for Teaching improvement and/or Professional Development as well as representatives of the new service providers in this field, like Edmodo. Are you one of those? Or could ou lead us to someone that you think will fit the need and the profile?
