Language Acquisition Principles for ELL students
For my master's program I have an assignment due this week in which I need to find a recent article (2000 or newer) from a professional journal article that pertains to "Language Acquisition Principles for ELL students." As a math teacher and member of the NCTM, I tried looking in past journal articles, but just couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone have an article or know where I can find an article that will be beneficial to me?

Try looking at the International Journal of Foreign Language Teaching. It's not ELL specific but most of what applies to 2nd language theory also applies to ELL students because it is their 2nd (or 3rd) language. Any article by Dr. Steven Krashen is considered golden in FL learning.
