How to add own Emotican?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a solution on how to add own emoticon or icon in forum of social networking site? Is it possible? If yes on which site?

what I know about it is that on yahoo messenger we can add such emoticon while chating. but is it possible in any social networking site? As we can use emoticon to create social presence in the online class.
