I just read a Tweet from @altteacher about Teachers TV http://www.teachers.tv which looks like a free and valuable resource which I had never heard and I thought might be of interest. The site says, "Through engaging videos, practical resources and an active online community, Teachers TV supports the professional development of anyone working in school, enabling them to widen their skills, develop their practice, and connect with others in the field."

In particular I'm fascinated by a SuperNanny-like show for Teachers called from Good to Outstanding http://www.teachers.tv/video/30208 where a Super Mentor (with a SuperNanny British accent) develops good teachers into outstanding teachers. It's a free full-length television show complete with all the support materials the teacher needed also available for free. Teachers can watch and comment on the videos as well.

If you haven't heard of the site, check it out. It looks great. If you have heard of the site, I'd love to know what you think of it and how you've used it.
